Anita van de Munckhof is a PhD Student at Amsterdam UMC under supervision of dr. Jonathan Coutinho and prof. dr. Yvo Roos. Her research focuses on cerebral venous sinus thrombosis. She obtained a Master's degree in Medicine from the University of Amsterdam in 2021.

Katarzyna Krzywicka is a PhD student working on cerebral venous thrombosis under supervision of dr. Jonathan Coutinho and prof. dr. Yvo Roos at Amsterdam UMC. She received her medical degree from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands and obtained an MPhil in Clinical Sciences (Experimental Medicine) from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. Currently she is the coordinator of the DOAC-CVT study.

Mayte Sanchez van Kammen is a PhD student at Amsterdam UMC under supervision of Dr. Jonathan Coutinho and Prof. Yvo Roos. She has carried out and collaborated in several studies within the International CVT Consortium, as well as other international research collaborations. She is an aspiring neurologist. She obtained her medical degree at the University of Utrecht and a master’s degree in clinical epidemiology at the University of Amsterdam.

Adrian Scutelnic is a research fellow and neurology resident at the University Hospital and University of Bern, Switzerland under supervision of PD Mirjam Heldner and Prof. Marcel Arnold. His main research interests are headache in cerebrovascular diseases and stroke prevention. He is currently coordinating the COVID-19 CVT study.

Mirjam Heldner - CVT ConsortiumMirjam Heldner is a Consultant for Neurology and Stroke and Deputy Head of the Neurovascular Outpatients Clinics at the University of Bern/Switzerland. She has studied and trained as a Neurologist and Strokologist in Bern in Switzerland, Oxford  in the United Kingdom and Krems in Austria. Her clinical and research interest focuses on stroke (cerebral venous thrombosis, particularly on large vessel occlusions, stroke scales, emergency triage, acute therapy, stroke aetiology, atherosclerosis in different vascular beds, secondary prevention). Her research has been supported by several grants (e.g. Swiss National Science Foundation, Swiss Heart Foundation. She is also a member of different professional associations (e.g. WSO, ESO Fellow, ESO Board of Directors, ESO education committee, WISE, IRENE-COST) and of the evaluation committee of grants for trainees and equality for protected research time at the University of Bern. She is a co-organiser of the ESO-ESMINT-ESNR Stroke Winter School and of ESO-ESO-department-to-department visits at the University of Bern

Erik Lindgren graduated from Gothenburg University in 2017 and is currently working as a neurology resident at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, Sweden. In 2022 he defended his PhD from the University of Gothenburg, focusing on outcomes and complications of cerebral venous thrombosis.

Susanna (Yvonne) Zuurbier - CVT ConsortiumSusanna (Yvonne) Zuurbier is a Dutch Neurologist working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Amsterdam University Medical Center, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She received her PhD degree in Cerebral Venous Thrombosis; epidemiology, clinical course, and outcome. Susanna Zuurbier was awarded the Dutch Neurovascular Science prize 2020 for the most deserving neurovascular publication in the past two years. Susanna Zuurbier is currently chair of the Early Career Stroke Professional Committee of the World Stroke Organisation.
